Miss Behave

Hi ladies,

It's Kerry here, writing to you on a rainy Sunday night from my apartment in Brooklyn. I'd like to share the story of the Lipstick Lunch night that we had for my sister's NYC bachelorette party a few months ago. It was the largest in attendance of any Lipstick Lunch I have attended so far, and was a total blast!

Carly brought veils for all the girls to wear. Every lady had their own unique veil, just like they all have their own unique personalities. The winter snow fell outside the window as we took over The Crooked Knife restaurant, an Irish hideaway in the Meatpacking District. Even the mannequin in the corner joined in the fun.

We all came with "Miss" or "Mrs" names. There was a Miss Behave girl, a Mrs her flight girl, amongst others.

Part of the specialness of Lipstick Lunch is celebrating the power of each woman's lives who come to share their stories with us. I am eternally grateful to Carly and the rest of the girls who came for joining in the beauty that is my sister Allison and her commitment to love life and her fiance Drew :)

Here are some photos from the wild winter Lipstick Lunch bachelorette night:
